MWS Media, a film and video production company based in Newbury, Berkshire, made the film in December 2008, premiered the film in September of 2009 receiving praise for its adventurous approach to filmmaking. Bertie Stephens, the Producer of “Nuryan” and a Director of MWS Media said “Not only was the film made on an extremely low budget, we also decided to push ourselves creatively by making an entire film in split screen.”

Some exciting news!

Following on from our success at the Swansea Bay Film Festival (patron: Katherine Zeta Jones and Michael Sheen as Vice President) we’ve had some great news today! We’ve been notified that we are an official selection for our previous film “Nuryan” at the London Independent Film Festival. This is a fantastic award for the production and will boost the future option for The Sweet Shop.
